Jade City Cover Reveal & ARC Giveaway

The cover of Jade City was revealed today on Book Riot! Check out the official reveal.

The art department of my publisher, Orbit, couldn’t have created a more bold and dramatic cover and I’m thrilled with it. The finished book is going to have a title that glows like lit jade, and the tagline is so perfect it gives me shivers.

And that’s not all. I’m now in possession of Advance Reading Copies of Jade City and I’m giving three of them away right now. Enter the Rafflecopter giveaway below. Open internationally until May 23. You can also add Jade City to your Goodreads list or pre-order it on Amazon.

Jade City book deal announcement

I can’t overstate how thrilled I am to make this announcement. My next book (and adult debut), Jade City, sold to Orbit books in a three-book deal. The first novel will come out November 7. That’s right, this November. The news is out in Publisher’s Weekly today, calling it, accurately, “a Godfather-esque saga of intergenerational blood feuds, vicious politics, magic, and kung fu.”

I love this book. It’s the most ambitious thing I’ve ever written. I’m incredibly invested in and excited by it and can’t wait to share it with readers.

Where the Stars Rise – Coming October 2017

I’m pleased that my novelette, “Old Souls,” will appear in Where the Stars Rise, an anthology of Asian science fiction and fantasy, alongside the work of several other talented authors including E.C. Myers, S.B. Divya, Amanda Sun, and more. Where the Stars Rise will be available on October 8, 2017. A portion of proceeds from sales of the anthology will go toward Kids Help Phone. For more about the book, go here.
