The audiobook of Jade City, narrated by Andrew Kishino, is a finalist for the 2019 Audie Awards in the Fantasy category. Andrew did an outstanding job bringing my book to life for listeners and I couldn’t be more thrilled to see his work recognized. I’m happy to share the news that Cross Fire is a finalist for the 2019 Oregon Book Award in the YA category, alongside The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw, Books Smarts & Tender Hearts by Shelley Pearson, and This Mortal Coil by Emily Suvada. Congratulations to all the finalists! This is my third Oregon Book Award nomination (Zeroboxer and Exo were nominees in 2016 and 2018 respectively). The 2018 Aurora Awards for Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy, were announced in Vancouver, BC on October 6, and my work was honored with not one, but two wins!
